I've been so caught up with the excitement of the upcoming Generations EP, I've been neglecting the regular stuff for my blog. I think I forgot to post a cool item last week, oops!

Cool Item of the Week

This week's cool item comes from Around The Sims 3 and it's a set of board games! Many different varieties, all cloned from the chessboard. I haven't had a chance to try these out yet, but they look awesome, and can be used with regular tables!

Cool Item of the Week

Sorry for the lack of updates recently. I'm working on stuff, it's just been slow-going. I'm hoping to get a couple of lots uploaded this week :)

Anywho, this week's cool item comes from BlackPearlSims and it is a decorative billiards table!

I have no idea why EA didn't give us a billiards table for our bars in Late Night, but at least now we have a decorative one! Thanks to Tinkle for making this! :)

Cool Item of the Week

I can't believe I only now discovered this object! It's called Dexter the Bear, from ModTheSims and it allows for your Sims to kill other Sims by stabbing with a knife, hitting with a poker, or hitting with a hammer. What is so awesome about this mod though are the extras, such as new moodlets and Sims can actually be arrested when they murder another Sim! I just love mods that add realism to the game!

Cool Item of the Day (and some changes)

Before I tell you the cool item of the day, I want to say that I've decided to stop doing the cool item of the day. At least for now. There's stuff I want to make for the Sims, and as I said before, I feel like that should be my priority. However, I will be switching the format over to cool item of the week instead, and I'll probably post on Saturdays from now on.

But for today, the cool item comes from 5npc Sims 3 and it is a mini fridge!

Today's cool item comes from ModTheSims and it's called Hobb's Hollow! It's basically a house built under terrain. Very cool!

Today's item comes from The Sims Resource and it is a ladder-style staircase!

This is the closest I've found to a usable ladder in the game, and it looks great! It's a free download as well, so all you have to do is register (for free), and it's yours! Thank you to lilliebou for this creation!

Cool Item of the Day

Thought I'd go ahead and post the new item for the day, so I wouldn't forget. I'm hoping to post some more stuff later too, I've just been crazy busy.

But without further ado, today's cool item is the Caltex Petrol (Gas) Station from Simming In Magnificent Style!

It comes with 5 parts so make sure to grab them all. It's only decorative, but a great addition to your Sims' town :)

So, it is so late here (almost 4am), and I just remembered that I didn't post the cool item of the day. I will get my head together eventually and not forget these things!


So the cool item for today is the Scribbling Pad from ModTheSims!

Since I'm a writer, this really struck a chord with me. I'm constantly jotting down story ideas and plot points in various notebooks, so when I saw this, I had to have it! Thanks to Buzzler for this creation :)

Cool Item of the Day

So, I've come up with a fun way to share cool stuff I've found, even when it doesn't fit into a theme, per se. Everyday I will feature a new cool item of the day I come across in my search for custom content. I will pick items that seem innovative and creative. It can be from any category (Buy, Build, CAS, Lots, etc).

So to kick it off, today's item of the day comes from Sims 3 Marktplaz (German; Free Registration is required for downloading), and it is a doorway with shelves!

You need to use the "moveobjects on" cheat (without quotes) to place the shelves. The shelves are slotted, so pretty much anything you can set on a table can fit these shelves. Big thanks to wiesel10 for creating it :)
